FEBRUARY 2012 EDITION

3 PLAYS IN 3 DAYS…….con’t

#2 LANDSCAPE DREAMING @ La Mama Courthouse, a premier event as part of the Midsumma Festival celebrating Queer Culture.

Directed by Damian Alexander Bernardo & written by Charles Mercovich, Landscape Dreaming boasted an energetic engaging cast who, on the night I saw it, worked hard to hit their performance stride. The staging was most effective but during the physical theatre moments the actors looked somewhat hemmed in. The Carlton Courthouse is a great venue & constantly supports new Australian writing such as Landscape Dreaming.
